Colors saturated by jam of red currants? Ball bearings in a bath of oil in false colors?

The light reflections suggest glass beads, but my first thought was fish eggs hehe... They seem to be in a glass. Excellent work, very beautiful creation !!

Ok, thanks for all the guesses, and now I shall tell you that it is (120 rubies on the top of a flashlight) Thanks again for all your comments!!! Akemi ;^)

Rubies? What kind of rubies? I came back to this picture because I was curious to know what it was of course. I cannot imagine why you would think to place 120 rubies on the top of a flashlight, for that matter where someone could find 120 rubies all the same size and color. I am even more curious than before you told what it was!!! Thanks nongo!

I thought they were marbles in red glass bowl sitting on a lighted shelf or glass table. Very clever shot A-San!!! Stunningly beautiful though. Of course, I recognized these rubies now!
