Description
Several months ago while I was at the Cultural Arts Center here in Chicago (across from the Art Institute), I found a wonderful post card book called "The Currency of Africa". It is a collection of currency images housed at the Newark Museum. I fell in love with the book and the images of every day life and villages through out Africa in over the last 60 years. Althought it is probably terribly illegal to create the currency (I think some might consider that counterfitting even if I don't try to spend the resultant images), I have tried to re-create the look and feel.

I created the remaining patterns for the currency using Symmetry Works, The village background in Vue after exporting the huts from Poser 5, and post worked & composited the pieces in Photoshop.
