have to say, quite an awesome job. my only beef is with the visible atmosphere-space separator line. still, innovative work :)

Very cool concept and pic and I'll totally forgive the lapses of realism there (as one for instance, you'd have to be a nut to fly in close formation through the buffetting AND the shutdown of radio communications during the ionization phase).
