hey there...this is my current WIP of Vivi from Final Fantasy 9. He will be playing in an animation im currently working on, where he works in a factory and Cid (from FF6) is there too... Anywho, this was modeled and rendered in Lightwave in a couple of hours... Lemme know what u think, and whether or not u think it looks like vivi. Pix of factory thusfar are prolly comin soon too, C&C...i like them :D

woo thanks for the comments :D...about the poser, i think i just might, i just need to learn how (after it is done and everything). Im currently modeling the gloved hands, and that is taking some time, lol. I already modeled his belt buckle (whoop de doo) and after the gloves, i will do his pants and shoes...then he will be done!

what a great hat! love the feel of it. my only comment would be that the hat looks so natural with all the fold and the jacket looks a bit smooth for fabric. I know we al like to keep our geometry clean for animating ; ) but maybe add some hints of folds by the elbow and armpit? Just my 2. Keep posting! Pete

nice except that if i remember right vivi had a blue coat and a black or red hat. but i could be wrong it's been about 3 years since i've played it last. otherwise i would say it's right on.
