Description

In the days of summer so long. We danced as the evenings sang their song. And wandered out the days so long. And I do feel very well. Ours in trance we surely carry on. And search the forests of the Sun. We dreamed as we dream, dream as one. And I do think very well. ~@~ From Tales from Topographic Oceans by Yes ~@~ Global warming is to blame, I'm sure, for the worst summer weather I can remember. I feel sorry for Sossy who is here on holiday at the moment. It has rained pretty consistanly for months throughout this misrable summer, and I find myself hankering back to the heat of June this year in Italy (pictured). Mid September and the rain has turned cold and windy. No doubt, the rain will be nasty and colder come the winter, and just turn really heavy for next spring, before the summer deluge starts in earnest again next year. ///////////////// ///////////////// //////////////// Sorry for going on, but enoughs enough. If anyone up there is listening just pack it in NOW!

I think the rain will be white and flaky come winter! Wow what a beautiful and excellent landscape, lovely greens, the long spindly grass in the foreground adds great depth to this and the tree on the hill with the long shadow adds mood, I feel for Sossy too but thats Scotland for you, but this wonderful land has its benefits too. (Long summer evenings now and then)

Gorgeous shot...great mood! I'm with ya on the rain...we had a little over 6 inches of rain yesterday. Massive flooding everywhere here...fortunately, we live on the highest point in the area, but still experienced slight flooding in the basement. Enough is enough is right!!! :)
