Description

A grouping of sail ships docked together in the same area. The way the masts were positioned, it was rather difficult to figure out which line went to which ship! And made for an interesting image ;) This was taken (amongst a few others) at the Wereldhavendagen (World Harbour Days) in Rotterdam Sept. 3, 2004. And MAN was it hot!! (guess I was lucky to find a SW Stormtrooper baseball hat along the way!) There were lot of people to see the Dutch Royal Marines do demonstrations in 2 choppers (helicopters) and other military ships. A lot of the time ships and crew from other countries come and give tours. By the time we got back, we were sweaty, hot, tired and our feet were killing us! :p Questions, Comments and ideas always welcome! Enjoy!
