Description

Olympic National Park, Hoh Rain Forest This fallen tree, most likely due to natural causes is cause by what I call the split factor. I thought it looked like a worthy picture, so i photographed it. Now (and for some odd days now)I am/have been meditating on the concept of "split". It is a natural phenoenon for creations in the realm of the natural to split, as it is perhaps unatural when man splits something, like a hershey's bar, a prescription medication, piece of licorish, and even worse more potentially destructive matter...like the atom. Is it a bad thing to split the atom? Or is it the notion of furthering the technology inorder to make horrific weapons of mass destruction...only to further split our peoples of nations...of which all are basically the same. All are human, but we are all divided by so many factors, both by law and choice. I am split from my neighbor cuz of this big-ass fence. Churches are split....ffamilies...split then...is it destiny? Is man as natural as the tree...only at a different level...what we think of as "man made" and evil many times...is this sort of deal part of the game........we act as humans as naturally as a blade of grass grows in peace...at least until I mow it down....Is this how life is written I wonder. I'll prob. never know, but sometimes I suspect that there is some "devine magical"lesson to learn in our humanity, and the choice is ours whether or not to see and think about it. Ny splitting we shall eventually learn the truth of love and peace? Hell if i know, but what do I know. I know nothing!!! But even nature is split...animals, shrubs, trees, flowers...so there is a natural beauty in split too. Everything has such a place in the scheme of life here. Every little deal of life, wind, water, whatever is most necessary...just the abscence of one of these pieces would result in mass chaos and possibly even a big black cloud that could destroy all of us...We could be sucked into the Sun for God's sake!!! Don't kill ants I say! Or bees or opossums. They were here b4 us humans. I fail to mention my split personallity? ...Please forgive my babbling here...comments/suggestions, even insight for a fool like me will and always is much appreciate :-) Thanks for looking, -Peace :-)

One Fool to another...from both ...I like Your split...and, a New Zealander had a big part in it.. the Atom...but, didn't have Total Destruction in Mind..but, how would I know..I lost My Mind to Reality ..Sir Earnest Rutherford, was the Man..a for the "Boss"...the Creator...the Divine....I think He/She/It...made the split to confuse...or perhaps to give choice...acceptance is the Best Medicine...then what Readers Digest prescribes... Laughter. Peace... from Brian and Tedz :]

My neighbors tree was hit by lightning last year and it was amazing to see the result being a "split" tree. The sap boils in the trunk when struck by lightning and causes the tree to split to release the pressure. Pieces of the tree were all over our yard, and I mean huge splinters sticking in the ground by the sheer force of natural causes. Ah well, I would imagine nature doesn't need our help too much. Though we are commanded to tend the earth...
