Apophysis / Photoshop I am with the many who have had a back load of designs that never made the cut to the kaleidoscope contest :D This was one of mine that I chose not to enter, but I had a fondness for. Thanks for viewing :D

Gorgeous image!! It makes me think of a flower made of molten lava. (I think I have been playing too much Playstation2 lately. Molten lava is in every game ... lol.) But this is beautiful. And I agree with gunsan that it makes me think of a chrysanthemum. Excellent design and such vivid colours!
