"Sitting in front
of a dark screen
waiting for something
to erase
the memory of life
trembling
Dying in my arms
Behind this black screen
I see vivid images, like
putting 5 dogs
in a freezer,
washing my hands
and frozen face
in the late summer
sun
Don't feel much
There is nothing there
but a cold design
with no meaning
at all
Sitting in front
Of my dark screen
waiting for something
To erase life"

Oh gosh, Dirk. The shapes look like the brass/metal sculpture a friend of mine does. Fabulous composition, colors, shadowplay and texture. WOW! Just read the poem. It's heavy and excellent..and felt/shared. BTW, don't worry about playing catch-up. Just post your incredible and inspiring work.

Killer stuff, Dirk! Such a firey atmosphere. Here again, the shadowplay is magnificent. How you create so many cool shapes is beyond me. I love how the floor ripples the "spool" shadows.

It is interesting trying to figure where this 'sundial/cauldron with a lid on it' is. Because of the textures and colors, it could also be in a tent. Abstract and suggestive. Excellent!
