This piece of work is truly interesting to me, looking beyond just the technical of how it became, and or the typical of comments to the basic art of it, into rather a deeper thought. I, myself much prefer the one with the "high byte diet" So much more life, color, and character. The other, sure is less than and might seem not as overwhelming to some, to me it presents a loss, a sadness almost, in turn making me feel rather sorry for it. Well those are my first impressions and thought, I will give this more time to absorb. Truly, the perspective here at looking at other things in life including people (As we are all I like to think a living work of art.) has changed. Thank you Richard and as always keep it up!

I like them both, but prefer the high byte one...it's just got so much more to look at, and seems more vibrant and full of energy. Both are excellent however and great fractals :-) p.s. Happy Belated Birthday!

...and try to say that three times fast! Can't do it! I too, like the high byte diet. A cool velvety background, too.

The high byte guy certainly looks plumper but the low byte one has a certain air of mystery and alienness to him that makes him quite attractive. Both are excellent, as is the whole presentation!
fractalinda
High Byte is the ticket! Clever and beautiful work. Love the background, too.

LOL.... Think you just created the Laurel and Hardy of flames ;-)) Hard to choose. Like between a gourmet dish and a good Flemish stew... Ah well, give me the stew !! Thanks for this one, you just made my day !!!
