Description

* Body is a temple mine is rotten down... I never liked it, I never loved it... You say that's wrong, but while agreeing I still not believe it. Body is a temple, but mine has not goddess in it. I still see the vanity throu muscles trained, I see useless that time passed to make it, I don't like that, I don't like that, but maybe just cos it's what changes from mine to theirs... I have no forces to shape me on, I fear the long time, I fear the task and let down to have me reachin the prize and movin on... Body is a temple, mine was never built. I have to, I have to: but now I'm lackin that inner force to lead me there, too. * -------------- Photoshop 7, 1 hour work, fromthese new sources, courtesy of logiloglu and tallpindo, along with two pictures of mine. The original work was meant to be this one from these old sources, courtesy of logiloglu and my Stef ------------ The 6th poem taken from my old 1996/1998 series is dedicated to.. fitness I guess. Back at the end of my teenage days my relationship toward my body was pretty tragic.. I basically couldn't stand a single thing about it, but I was too unsure and disheartened about trying to give myself a chance to have the shape I would have loved to. I later learnt that to be fit is not being "perfect" as body , but it's about loving your health and the way nature has conformed you. The beauty around has many shapes and it's the wisest way the one that reads.. love the body you have, with its plus and minors. Try to be in shape, but in YOUR own shape. Diversity is the best. One kilos more or less won't make the difference, what does it instead is the love and respect you have for your own "temple". After those years of unconfidence I started to take regular physical activity, but to be healthy, instead of slim.As the obsession for weight faded out, I actually became slimmer than ever, with half of the effort. A sort of unexpected reward. I went to doctors that said me what was my specific weight to mantain, and I learnt to be "around that". Sometimes up it and sometimes a bit lower than it, but in all occasions no dramas. I can't say that the way I am is the way I would have loved to be, but after years, yep, I have started to feel that my body is my own temple. And I like it with all its defects. And I try to take care of it, without goin crazy if some parameter is from time to time dismissed. The message is that.. you are the first who have to take your own care. But to have care of oneself doesn't mean to get frustrated by a fake concept of perfection we should aim at. The target is health. The target is self-assurance that the shape we have been given from above has a sense. Don't let advertising, nor other people, decide what's the way you should look like. They don't know. Your body is the way that it's perfect for you to be. The only thing you have to learn follow is the healthy range of weight, and what's conformed to your own type of life. Not for the vanity. But for the sake of your life :) But. without pressures. They never are good, and they ruin your temple. Hugs :)

The surreal world and uncovered beauty is the most symbolical contradictions of our time. Only process of creation is important for creator, only body feel the harmony of nature and space.
