Andy, Andy, Andy, let me be the one of the first to say I have absolutely loved the renders you have done with this ship!!!! I have tried to give guidance to others that use the Victory mesh correctly, especially since your last render. ("Stormy Seas"?) This one is just phenomenal!!! It looks like one of the paintings of Geoff Hunt, or Geoffery Hubband, and a cover to one of the Patrick O'Brian or Alexander Kent novels that both artists have illustrated. Your attention to detail, as always, is spot on! You've done your research this time. I can't find anything to critique....As you're probably aware, I try to give each artist who uses the Victory model a good, thorough critique about how ships should look and react to all weathers. You've obviously been reading them too. You portrayed both ships of the line fairly accurately. The lower courses (sails) are triced up correctly; (to those that wonder, in battle, to minimize fire and debris, the lower sails were furled up so not to catch fire or cause undo debris and shrapnel if hit) both ships have one or two flags for identification; both have just enough sails set in the heavy weather for steerage, so as not to dismast them in heavy winds; there are whitecaps and a good amount of spray off the bow; a crew has been portrayed; either a slow dawn or dusk is shown with just enough emphasis of activity spotlighted on deck by the gunfire of the closer ship and the raging fire on deck of the further vessel, which appears to be significantly damaged as to be sinking. Andy, truly, one of the very best 3D images, immulating the style of a tradtionally painted battle scene. VERY WELL DONE!!! KEEP UP THE EXEPTIONAL WORK!!!!

When I waited for the image to load I just thought that in case there won't be FitArtistSFs' post I only would mention that this time he won't have anything to say. As I see he said already. And said a lot! :) So I have nothing to add. This image is pure batalia perfection! Bravo!

A wonderfully riveting image. There is so much to see within it! The mood you've created/set is very strong. As the viewer, I see and feel the desperation AND the isolation of these two ships and their crews - even as (I supsect) they do not.
