Well I been looking around the net and have seen a few volcan's pictures and tho why don't I try and do my own one... so here my first try at a layer... well not too good I know... but I'm gettng there...
Please can you rate and comment on any way I can made it any better....

Good concept! Try to work a little more on the sky and the atmo!

Maybe if the rocks were very dark and the lake brightly colored/lit the contrast would be nice.

I think for a first start its good. I think theres a plugin for producing the lava effect.
