Description
Well I was out today looking for something to get a shot of,and saw this. This is an Assassin Bug (Apiomerus spp.) getting a meal. The weird thing about them,is that they grab their prey,then impale them with their sharp mouthpart. Injecting digestive fluids into the insect,and then sucking them dry. Hope you enjoy.

laughs at Nongo's comment I think instead of walking around with your camera, you should be walking around with some bug spray...If I had all these bugs around I'd be calling in the exterminator =) Thankyou for telling us in such graphic detail what this little parasite is doing....a super photo, but a horrible subject shudders
