Suggestions: turn off "smooth polygons" your radio antenna (among other things) is ballooning. His left eye needs to be facing the camera so he doesn't look cross-eyed and his left hand needs a better grip on the rifle. overall not bad. He has a pretty good pose. and i like the camera angle.
VOID
First of all he looks extremely fat. Thats a problem with the clothing, of course. The hand posing on the rifles foreshaft could be much better and the eyes are bad posed. The left eye seems to look very bored to the floor on the right. He does not seem to be very focussed despite the general posing. The pistol holster also needs better texturing. Looks like glossy. That the rifle is really ugly and out of shape is nothing new and not your fault. You should also try to match up the colors with the background with color correction in postwork. However, keep posting. :)

puts on his black beret and his BDUs Okay, lets see. Camo patern isn't right, but that isn't really your fault. I haven't seen a good camo texture yet, not that looks like the current woodland camo any way. If he's soposed to be Speacial Forces or Ranger (or some other black organization) he would have a newer version of the M-16/M-4 (M-4A3 with the "flat top upper reciever"). That would bring the scope lower on the rifles sight line. The uniform looks like hes suposed to be wearing bodyarmor, and it look bulky, but it shouldn't look baggy like it does, and instead be kinda slabbish and tighter to the body. I have to disagree with VOID on the blending of the Camo with the background though. When you are standing in woodland camo, you tend to stick out like a sore thumb. Where woodland camo shines is when you are in the shadows (read: in the brush, not standing in front of it). The weapon looks off, but like he said, not really your fault. One thing you might do to make him look like a more conventional soldier is make his glasses a smoke color with a red poarized finish, instead of clear safty lenses. Don't think I am being harsh. it's better than my non-poser using butt can do, I am just saying what I know from real world experience. Fly Army Aviation! Hookers Rule! (And if you think a hooker is a woman in that context, you are wrong).
