Description

Vieille Major : Une des plus anciennes églises de Marseille, en partie amputée lors de la construction de la Nouvelle Major et dont il ne reste que le chevet de style roman provençal. Old Major : One of the oldest churches of Marseille, partly destroyed to allow the construction of the Nouvelle Major.Only the Romanesque-Provençal chevet from the 12th century remains. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Thanks for comments - Commentaires appréciés

Beautiful shot. Interesting, what I assume is the old is enshrouded in shadow... the new in sunlight.
