Description
This image was taken in Achmelvich in Scotland. The 'white blobs' give the appearance of snow in the image to me, but of course it is simply wool from sheep which has blown in the wind!

Nice and an unusual shot. However it looks like a 'whin' or gorse bush to me with possibly a rose mixed up in it. The wool can often be seen on the lower sections, but usually just trailing strands, not cotton wool style, definitely browny -grey in colour not white. Any whin bushes I came across had a bright yellow flower, which was used ( in my gran's and mother's time ) to dye boiled eggs at Easter..
