Description

Still exploring the possibilities of my "tutorial grass technique", this time with a new terrain function etc. trying to get some long grass. I've also blended a "wild flower" terrain layer in between. --- Vue 4, Poser 4, TreePro (the trees, my design & textures), XFrog for the yellow "umbellifer plants", also my design etc. Photoshop CS for postprocessing, and a few corrections on the "maidens". 25 mio. polygons, two lights. 2.5 hrs. render. --- Thanks for your comments on my latest pictures and your kind reception of my tutorial. Hope to see a lot of different grass fields in the future :) ******UPDATE: New render in "Broadcast", 5 hrs. 25 min. render.****** Comments on this one also appreciated - have a nice sunday. - Cheers, Lars.

Looks wonderful, very natural. Lovely posing work on the characters as well. Can that grass be done in d'Espirt or do I need pro?

Thanks for your comments so far. The grass technique works in Vue d'Esprit for sure, since I don't have Vue Pro. The technique is simple as such. Well, once you know how, anything is simple :)

This is really wonderful - and you've really picqued my interest to try your grass tutorial! It's really well done - and I think it would probably be difficult to portray a tall grass field as you have - gotta try this!

Fantastic! I'll have to work some more on that grass technique. My results up to now where not extremely successful... But you really have got the handle on it!!
