Description
Lets have a toast friends. Rainbow wine, yep, the perfect buzz everytime. ;)
Shot the wine glass and bottle on a table with some grapes with the Minolta Dimage 7hi. Used a table cloth for the back drop. Filled the glass and bottle with water.
Grapes were done in Cinema 4d and lit with an .hdr made from a picture of a gazing ball in the same location as the wine bottle and glass so the light used in the cinema render would match the scene thereby making the grapes appear as if they are there. Getting the see through grape-look looks easier than it was. My first render of the grapes looked like peanut M&Ms. Transparency and fresnel@2 was key.
The crazy rainbow stuff was generated using a free program called Chaoscope found here http://www.btinternet.com/~ndesprez/download.htm It's not the easiest program in the world but I just keep pressing f3 until something looks like something then maybe some ideas follow. It's kinda cool though.

looked at the Chaosscope site & after reading you say it's not the easiest then it must be extremely difficult... anyway... this looks so cool, luv the mix of the real with the unreal, would luv a glass!! cheers :]
