I chose this mirror surface because I am not to good with shadows, lighting or refraction. Tell me what you think.

Shadows can be tricky with glass but persist, as for lighting and refraction they look great here! Where is the problem? This is good work, keep it up!

Superb ! I like the glass effect, the colors, and the vase is cool too ! How did you make the vase ? Is it just bump mapping ? Or maybe a fractal noise applied to a texture or something like that... I like the originality of your scene. Please, do one with a lot of flowers like that ! A garden maybe ?
