This image is dedicated to Chelle a/k/a Crasher. I know at one time she was a big fan of my male creations :). But it was her generosity in sharing her knowledge and answering questions and support that got me started painting hair. Don't get me wrong is was practice that got it where it is today :).
But thank you Chelle for your tutorial...been a long time coming. Now if I can just figure out the curly/wavy hair :)

I went proggy style on this! Okay... it's only the wild movement that I went for. I do enjoy my own style of painting hair. I just wish I could figure out better how to get those vibrant colors. And on this one I got the postwork look I like, but I don't know how I got there >.<
Since this is No. 13 and some people are weary of 13, I thought I'd make something not so human. But does he look that bad, unless you are the one who snuck up on him.

I've got a render for Crasher too, but she hasn't been around for a while!! Her tutorial ia how I learned to paint hair, and it's the only one I've ever read!!! The hair in this image looks just like hers-I think I draw in too many strands!! LOL!! I like this style better than mine!!! EXCELLENT work!!
