Description
Another Light/Transparece-Absorbtion-Test. The Variations are made with Paintshop, simple Red/green/blue-sliding ... but I'm a bit shocked, the rendering took 24 h so far ... tsk tsk ... I have to work on it :-)

First place: Congrats on winning the animation contest. The colors in this image there are beautiful. I love it. The rendertime (24 h)can maybe shorter. But I thell you later more, I make (software) experiments for this problem. 1 houre is now 10 min., but sometimes we have errors. I wish you a nice evening. Toine

Hey flyingart, I'm very much interested ... for this image I used the Translucent-Pro-Pluggin 1.1 in transparence-channel and luminance-channel and used lots of volumetric lights and normal lights. In this case I didn't use radiosity so I'm wondering about the long time, it shouldn't be only the higher raydepth-settings (15/10/6), that didn't take so long in other tests. I think it's the light-angle that takes so long, its about 45 degrees from both sides - it its going straight from above or the side its quicker ... (sorry to all for my bad English, ahem ...)
