Description

This is a tribute to Nancy aka Sophia Deer, who I know has links with the American Indian community. I am just imagining, in years gone by, how it must have been for them, when water was not so plentiful and they would put their trust in their medicine man, to bring on the rain. The texture, is a combination, of Miss April's face and Shalea's fantastic skin tone. The indian outfit, is a gift from a good friend of mine. Thank you so much, but I won't embarrass them. Thank you all for looking and an even bigger thank you, for walking that extra mile and leaving a comment. I know it takes up your valuable time. Thanking you, in anticipation, Steve :o)

Wonderful portrait, and a unique POV. Combined with her blue eyes (as far as I know Native Americans usually have dark brown eyes) it makes for a somewhat surrealistice feel. The grey hair is a great touch, her face may look young but she's experienced and wise. Awesome work!
