Description

I know this belongs in the memorial gallery, but there was only one picture in that gallery, and it seemed too lonely. This is a picture of my old friend Scooby doing something he loved, rolling in catnip. He passed away this morning, just as the sun was coming up. He was 17. He was with me for a little over 2 years. Prior to that he had a difficult life. He was so loving, so appreciative of whatever I gave him. I wish I could have had him much longer, so he could have had a better life. I miss him dearly and will never forget him.

And now he will have his own field of catnip to roll in as much as he wants. Sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's a great photo and at least you gave him a good life for his last 2 years. I wonder, will you get another cat, a younger one this time?

I'm sorry for your loss of a good friend. Please take some comfort in the fact that you gave him a loving environment for the last years of his life.

So sorry for your loss. think of the 2 yrs you had him and how you improved his life. I know the feeling, last November 8th we lost our one cat to coyotes. But the memories of Our beloved pets Noone or nothing can or will take away. They are in a better place now, we will see them again one day.

I lost my beloved Macaw "Star" that was like a kid in sooo many ways this summer. He was so smart and had excellent word association so he almost seemed human. I took that sooo hard. Then a month later my 13 year old schnauzer died. It wasn't a good summer for pets for me. I am so sorry for your loss. We swore off pets after that and 2 months later (?) we went to the pound and got another one! Suckers we were! An adorable basset that is very "it's all about me-ish". We name her Molly.

I really fel with you, even thought i can not share every detail of your loss. All i do is, i do understand how much you loved that kitty for the time it was with you. But not forgett . . . every moment counts, even if you only where with it together for 2 years, it still where 2 good and happy years, right? I belive that scooby's spirit still is with you, becouse he need to really loved you too. ~Momoka~

Parting is very difficult when it involves someone you love unconditionally and someone who showers their love on you but death is an inevitable truth and will take us all one day or the other. 17 for a cat is not a bad life but the void in your life with be there for ever. You should learn to live with his fond memory dear friend or you could give home to a new cat as a rememberence for your scooby.

I know how you feel. Years ago I lost my cat "Murx". The only thing you can do is to wait until the pain isn't as bad as now. Sorry for you!

I know all too well how you feel.... I lost 3 elderly cats within a 9 month period of time, and I was devestated. Each time it felt as if I had lost a child.... My sympathies to you... It's been 8 months since Tony the youngest at almost 15 died, and I still cry when I think about them...
