Description

Hello everyone. I'm currently working on my own version of the 'Ion Z' battery commercial from the book entitled 'Mastering the Art of Production with 3ds max' by Jason Busby and Michele Bousquet. This is the alien environment that I have created for it. Do you think it looks 'alien' enough? CG elements modelled and rendered in 3ds max 5, compositing done in combustion 3.

Fantastic Comp.! The Only Thing I Can Say Is Try A Different Background, That Mountin And Waterfall Seem Too Distracting. Other Than That Its Perfect! 8)

Thanks Drsuess, I'm glad you like it! As for the background, it might be a good idea to have something in the picture to distract people from my crappy animating skills :-) Cheers.

Very good work. Looks quite martian, allthough the plants and waterfall betray that. Why not add more alien plants/trees though? (have a think of what an alien tree could look like ^_^)
