The composition is beautiful as it is and you are absolutely right,it needs no frame.Wonderful colors and shapes,the golden feeling and the little touch of soft white behind it,I like it very much,Superb and Excellent done Michael!

Very elegant imagery with wonderful details and excellent design (though I wish you had zoomed out to encompass the sphere as a whole). Agree about the frame; in fact, I prefer presentations sans frames so that there are no distractions from the image. Excellent!
