this are my early stage of skull rendering. soon to be complete. but there is some technical problem. 1-does anyone know how to convert maya to 3d max file? 2-which is better rendering? maya or 3d max? speed will be the first.second is quality. thank you,

i dont know about #1 but for #2, 3ds max is, in my opinion, better(faster,more sable, higher quality). the skull looks really good already, and almost done, good work.

thanks, snownet! for #2, does 3d max depend on graphic card a lot? i try before, but i m not sure about setting. it keep telling me about not enough ram when i export into avi animation. i have 2g ram. what went wrong? i m not good about export animation. some one out there, please help... may the force be with you.

if you want to know why, just contact me, I think your problem is quite obvious. Anyway if you need any help with 3dmax I will kindly help. Won't be problem to call u even, u can take a look in my gallery, black light has been rendered in 3dmax, with 3 times less memory than u have ;)
