I'm rather pleased to say that this image just won me an Honourable Mention over at Caligari's Absolute Beginners competition. They supplied 5 items which you could use in anyway you liked.
As the images at Caligari are not that big I thought I'd pop this up here for folk to see and (hopefully) comment on.

Thanks for putting this up. It would really be a shame to not be able to see all those details. You used the objects very creatively and, for me, compared to mine this does really not look like a beginner's image. Really good job!
