Description
This is a a frame from the first scene in a shortfilm I'm making, dont think it really looks realistic enough. comments appriciated!! :)

looks pretty good to me! Maybe max motion blur on the rain though (even if its image based)

Have tried that but it really looks like crap with motion blur

Nice scene. I think the reason it may not appear realistic is because the foreground rain should exhibit more motion blur than the midground rain. There's no getting around motion blur for the rain, even a very mild one. The rain in the distance should look like fog instead of noise. Also, atmospheric fog doesn't affect the middle depth enough, especially in the buildings. Saturation levels should drop with distance in this type of scene. The streets should be wet and reflecting all light sources. Cars with lights on would help the effect too. Some building windows could have some lights on. Try some of this and see how your scene looks, as you have a wondeful mood going on here. Keep it up.
