Excellent work Pete! The blurs give a really good photographic feeling, great action and the bg rocks! :)

Great contrast, and the monochromatic tone really adds to the image. My only suggestion would be to look at your tree texturing. It doesn't seem to apply itself continuously around the trunk? Easily fixed with a quick clone brush and blur in ps or psp. Aside from that.....excellent motion and feel to it. Well done!
