This is so awesome! I would have guessed the name even if I hadn't seen it. I looks like gasses and firmaments coming together. The starfield in the background is the perfect touch.

Very nice, particularly like the outer edges of the circle, very nebula like. Would it be possible to expand those bits and make a full nebula image with the same kind of colouring and texture?

The energy and synergy is palpable in this one, Keith. It's like a freeze frame moment in the evolution of ___ (fill in your doctrine). I saw the beginnings of this on the UF mailing list.. but you took it on a magical mystery tour since then. Kudos to you... it surely gets my vote! :)
