Emma finds April outside, staring down the valley toward the distant horizon. "Are you okay? I thought you were napping?" "I was," April says, smiling at her friend before turning back to the horizon. Sadness shows in her eyes. "I had another dream." "What was it about?" "It was strange. I was badly injured. There was a huge palace, and it was falling apart right in front of me. I was just lying there, watching it crumble. And it made me feel so sad, like I was losing everything I cared about. And then..." She tries to say more, but can't. Her eyes drop and she stares into the river, confused. "What, April?" Emma asks and puts a comforting arm around her friend's shoulders. "There was this voice. I think...I think it was one of the Goddesses. Talking to me." A mixture of fascination and fear crawls across Emma's face. A Goddess, talking to April. What could this mean? A few moments pass in silence, then April turns and looks deep into Emma's face, tears welling in her eyes. "Emma, I have no idea who I am. The girls fall into an uneasy silence. Finally April looks back to the horizon and speaks, determination set in her voice. "I'm going back to the Temple." "When? Now?" "Yes," April nods. "I need to talk to Derek. The first thing I can remember was waking up in that Vixen cell, and he was there. Maybe he can give me some answers." Emma takes April's hand and squeezes it gently.
