Description

Bin-Laden's attack on 9/11 resulted in over 3000 American deaths, so we consider him a villain. George Bush's decision to invade Iraq has resulted thus far in over 1000 American deaths, yet we consider him a hero? Will it take the deaths of some 2000 more servicemen to wake us up? I'd rather not wait around to find out. Blood for oil is only a good trade if you happen to have a lot of intrest in a company like Haliburton.

I suspect that the "America:Love it or Leave it" attitude is typical of most Bush supporters, stingisback. And it's likely that the inability to spell words like "crying" is as well. Dubya himself probably has difficulty with that one.

Those senators and congressmen who voted "yes" on the invasion of Iraq did so because they, like most of the rest of America, believed what they were told by the president and his propaganda machine. They made the mistake of believing what the president told them, because you should be able to believe the president. The simple fact is that we were lied to. we were lied to about Weapons of Mass Destruction (there were none), we were lied to about the Iraq-Al Queada connection (there is none), and we were lied to about the reasons for this war. And I did vote four years ago, not that it really mattered, since I was voting against a candidate who had already secured a victory via ilicit means. But we live in a country where a president that lies about getting a blow job is impeached while one that lies about the reason for sending our sons to die is heraleded as a hero. Saddam was an evil man, no doubt. But do we invade every nation that commits attrocities against human beings? Or do we do it only when it is in our best intrests? Bush likes to tout that the world is a safer place without Saddam Hussein running things in Iraq. He may be right (although I doubt it - those that DID attack us are still free), but I contend that the world will be safer still when Dubya is no longer running things here. But you go ahead and feel free to support him, despite the multitude of your fellow servicepeople that are dead because of this little Texas weasle. Despite the hundreds that died even after Bush announced an "end to combat operations in Iraq," and despite the fact that he signed the Patriot Act into law, greatly limiting the freedoms that are supposed to make America great. "Anyone who gives up a little liberty for a little security deserves neither liberty nor security" - Benjamin Franklin, American Statesman.

I agree with Buddha, this war is based on lies. Sure Saddam and his fellows were dictators responsible for the murder of many Iraqis and Kurds. But he was NO threat for the US, the Europeans or any else country.

After The debate the other night- I don't know how anyone with a brain could consider the Resident bush a viable cantidate let alone a President. He was shown to be a stuttering, stammering, fuming nitwit. If Kerry had done what he did- including interrupting, and breaking his own rules the press would be howling. Kerry is intelligent and Presidential. Before I supported Kerry because he was not bush, now I support Kerry because now I know he can do the job.

Hey, B32....I have an "America, love it or GIVE IT BACK" bumpersticker on the back of my SUV....got it on the rez :) also have a "Custer was Siouxed" [;)] next to it. "But we live in a country where a president that lies about getting a blow job is impeached while one that lies about the reason for sending our sons to die is heraleded as a hero." Isn't that the truth. I would rather have an 'indiscretion' than a bumbling warlord in DC. BTW....ya wouldn't happen to know where Geronimo's skull is, would ya? ;) Do ya think they let GW in on the whereabouts of that. Maybe the skull is next to the "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION"!!!!!! LOL
