cell shading is the technique used to get the lovely anime look. very nice job with it, especially blending her look with the washed background. nicely done. interesting lack of 'edges.'

Yes, interesting indeed. Now, instead of your cel-shading looking more like the current animlook found in the latest anim it looks more like a paint style some artists used for some color ads in newspapers, signs, or something. Well, it looks that way to me. Did you do any postwork on this art piece by chance?
