Description
what is looking as a river is, in fact , a levada: it a system of irrigation build by the population, from the top of the montains until the sea, using the lowest inclination. The legend (but may be it is the truth) tells that if you put together all the kilometers of levada you can make a complete round around the earth
Don't forget that all the pictures of this serial has been done betwenn 1994 and 1996, and here it looks sometimes as a century ago: things have changed a lot and, when poeple from here see them, they have some problems to beleive in these photographies.

Les ombres sont superbes ainsi que la photographie. j'aime le contraste entre la robe et le reste de l'image. je te souhaite une agrble journ.
