I never understood how they could fly into the penumbra of stars and then have any problems with planets. Heck, they should be able to fly through planets. 50,000 megaton explosions in chain reactions, densities 10 times that of the Earth's mantle, what is a little re-entry compared to that? Nice render, btw.
