I like the sky and atmo here Patt. IMHO the greens are a bit off if you were shooting for grassy material. Realistic grass colors are pretty hard to get right, try more red and more blue until you think it can't work this color and then you may find that it is actually pretty close. It took me a long time to get it, and only after lots of suggestions from the pros...

very misty - nice complex terrain and the shadows are strong enough to show them off - interesting combination of colours especially the almost blueless sky

Sorry...I have to speak up...I think your friends are way too kind...This terragen image is not worthy of a vote...I see awesome images in the TG gallery daily with only two or three comments...those people need friends, comments and votes...you have posted much better than this...the colors are off and washed out and IMHO needs a lot more work...again, sorry...its just...OK...not excellent...please tell your friends from other galleries to lighten up a bit...or at least look and comment on other TG artists works to be fair...the entire TG community is very aware of this and it deserves your attention if you want to be taken as a serious landscape artist and accepted by the TG landscape community. Friends can be overly nice and view things through rose colored glasses and not always speak the truth...I am trying to be honest and hopefully a trusted TG friend who speaks the truth...even when it may hurt a little...Please don't hate me...I'm only trying to be honest :(

Patt, do not care 'bout this childishness, nothin' is more important than friendship, and Renderosity Community has to tend to the constructive way, behaviour to be meditated on, no givin' somebody a lecture, no sitting in judgment on somebody, the possibility of commenting any image does not exempt from being respectful and humble, no pedestal! I see a lovely soft image. It's mood is beautiful. We all develop at our own pace, at our own will. Art is ours like our soul and we share it with others. They can say what they like, this doesn't change anything. Just enjoy what you do with this and let your fingers sing through your mouse. I weap for these angry individuals, why do they waste their time or care on who comments on your work. Oh well. Hugs dear, it is petty of them.

Wow told ya Terragen Gallery some people will do anything to try to knock anyone down that has some talent I can not believe this on the other hand yes I can since you know they tried very hard to do the same to me.. Some people will just never grown up like you know who in Fractals... Let it ride Patt they are not worth it.

For this reason I post less and less on the Terragen gallery !!! I do not dispute your images, your work ! But just comments and votes which are not logical !!!
