Description

Some say one shouldn't have too much black in a fractal image but I don't buy that. This one is made with "Spirals n' Newtons" -- I have to say that I am finding that a rich formula...UF

Stunning and intricate. And the contrast between the bright and dark color is marvelous. Your texture and patterning is exquisite as well. Excellently designed and rendered!

I like it a lot. I think the black works well here because it isn't all in one big block.

The black in this one create a very nice background, the texturing is lovely. I suggest, rotating and/or resizing it, just to see if different perspectives enhance the picture.

I spent about an hour trying diferent sizes and rotations and never came up with the "right" framing. It's a very difficult one! I'll keep looking...

Lovely work; elegant and dynamic flow; superb colors and details. I agree with you about black in fractals; the void should be recognized as part of the nature of fractals and used! VOTE

Wow! WAY cool spiral shape, Toby. No kidding, this is one of the coolest spiral forms I've seen and your colors are - as always - excellent and bold. Outstanding image!

I believe that black has its place in fractals, like everything else. It is also wonderful for highlighting a bold foreground image with no distractions. Fantastic shapes and tight movement, i like this one a lot :)
