Description

My entry for the september challenge. Thanks to everybody who votet for me and all the lovely comments of the past. I hesitated to post this picture because it is part of a work for a client (Neue Dimension Printmedien GmbH) which is not finished yet. But the pic fitted well for the theme so, what the hell, I decided to show it.:) The a.m. work was also the reason, why I didn't post something new for so long. Credits: Parts of zxcvb's trees - Housefern: Dreams of Vue, Flowers: No idea, may be Varian or anything else. Comments welcome as allways.

I really love this image BG, the lighting, trees, - everything. It has a true aura of mystery to it, and makes you wonder who's boat is that, and where have they gone, - did it drift there during an overnight storm?? It's exquisite!

What attracted me to this scene was the fog....I love foggy scenes. It always adds a mysterious quality. Upon closer inspection of this image, I like the details of the wood, the roots from the tree, the mushrooms sprouting about, the color quality that the flowers add to the scene, especially mixed with the horizon. The hand crafted boat shows its age well. Lots of little details to make an excellent composition!! ~ Ryan

Oh beautiful colours and textures here. Good imagination and composition - love the toadstalls and the lilac flowers are nice and set the scene off well. A beautiful render and fine work!
