a couple weeks ago while playing disc golf I ran across these little guys... the color was so magnificent that I had to run home and get my camera...

I'm pretty sure they are young Aminita Muscaria shrooms. They are Psychoactive. They are protrayed in Alice in wonderland, Super mario brothers "video game" and the "smurfs". If the grow white warts on them later, you know you have the right kind.
