Imagine a hotel which is built from scratch every year. A new design, new suites, a brand new reception -
in fact everything in it is crisp and new.
Well, there is such a hotel; the Ice Hotel, situated on the shores of the Torne River,
in the old village of Jukkasj

As an interior/architectural designer, I am familiar with the Ice Hotel and envious of your stay... I hope someday to visit... if not to see this wonderful concept... but just to CHILL OUT! lol... amazing shot... the shelter mags... 'Wallpaper' and such... would love this!

Woohoo... that's amazing! Have heard of that Ice Hotel a while ago and ever hoped someone will show some images here somedays :o) I'm so happy you've done it now! Brilliant capture! The curtain, the Greek columns and the bed... all is fantastic! Will backtrack to see the other one!

fascinating!! i remember the previous posts awhile ago of someone who stayed here, didn't realize it was made fresh every year! i can only imagine what it must've felt like... beautiful shot, a majestic igloo!! :]

Yep!! I know :) Have been there myself. Some tuff winters we can make our own garage in snow :) I hope not this year...I dont whant winter at all this year :( I need sun and more light.. But this pic is wonderful!! A teriffic shot! And ice is a lovley material.."collecting" light sooo perfectly!! And U capured the feeling sooo nice:) Excellent work!!! Are U coming back this year?
