Yes, I'd have to agree. This one suits the character much more and the BG is more active! Both however are high quality renders featuring an awesome character.

Hard to say, my friend...real hard, the grass over the latest one is just awesome..but this one has a lot more elements, the shadows and the boat scene is magnificent! and i think that is more adequate enviroment for this character. Excellent again! Congrats

Thanks everyone for your input, now that I have had time to rest I am inclined to agree with you, I want to thank all that commented and took the time to examine both images. ;^)

I like this one a lot more, because it is very dynamic. The vue angle makes me feel like I'm also on the boat and it is "rocking", you could get sea-sick... It is one of the very few pieces I saw that gave me the feeling of a cool breeze on my face. Very well done!!! :)

Everything is so damn beautiful... however there's one thing that does not work right.. The hair is too bright. Yes, it is white, but it's too bright while her face is shadowed.. I don't have any advices how I would change that.. it's just what I see. It draws the eye too much that I lose the whole

Grass. Although the waves are excellently produced, the boat does not lend to the image and seems 'tacked on'.

efry_e:Hmm well the only way thing I can tell you efry_e is that she was actually rendered with the boat scene in mind so the shadows are the ships sails and other objects on the boat that may be why her face is not as lit as you would like it.

Turin_Returns: thats funny because this was the first idea and this was the original back ground I had so much trouble getting the post work to blend with the scene that it needed more work so I tried my hand at the grass but as I said thats funny cause the scene was set up for her
