Description
About ten years ago, I found myself stranded in Tokyo. With the little money I had I tried to find a hotel for the night. What I found for my avaliable funds is what the Japanese refer to as a "Coffin Motel". These are large, warehouse like buildings with stacks of bunks fifteen high and a common unisex shower/restroom. Each bunk had a pull curtain for privacy, a small tv and a reading light, but not much else. I thought this arrangement might make efficient berthing for future ship crews. Figures are Daz Vic3 and Mike3 with the EMW Towel Wrap set from Daz3d

Well on the Mir the core-crew had their own sleepingrooms (coffins), they where nothing more than you have shown here, the difference was that the mir-coffins stood upright and had a porthole for a view outside.

Very reminiscent of that wonderful sequence in "The Fifth Element"

Great job of extrapolation here! I tend to think starship berths will be as you picture them here, and not like the spacious "suites" in most Sci-fi series. Excellent modeling and lighting too.
