Description
All of us need some time to rest weary bones and nurse the blows that life deals. The calm and solitude of this long forgotten cistern is my refuge.
To lay on the moist stone with closed eyes. To hear the almost inaudible ring of a water droplet echo off distant, shadow cloaked, walls. To feel the waters silky ebon tides wash over me as I plunge into its depths.
Here, in this quiet place I am as I wish to be.
In this place, my body is not broken.
In this place, I have no chains.
In this place... I am free.
