Description

This was taken about a year ago, in the California desert. It's the largest devil duster that I had ever seen. Almost looks like a tornado brewing. Have a good day and thank you for looking.

It has a beautiful shape to it, almost like a flower. We do have tornadoes occasionally in California. Usually they are not very large. This is an awesome capture!

Good enough to make a centerpiece of a room. When you look at this, somehow all your small problems begin to look even smaller and insignificant, because here is one but small manifestation of the nature's force and scale.

I was in Kentucky bout 10 years ago and saw a tornado. This is exactly what it looked like before it dropped to the ground. There's a technical term for this.. Think it's called a funnel cloud? The tornado was brief and did no damage. Was windy and the clouds about the funnel where heavy and wet lookin. This looks dry, but it's altitude suggests more than a dirt devil. Excellent pic here Vikki!!! Dave :^)
