Description
In February I will release a game called GUTSHOT. It's a book with rules to run small-scale skirmishes with 25mm miniatures (kinda like Dungeons & Dragons or Warhammer... but with Cowboys). I've been working on it for about five years (hey, it's hard to write a book when you have a day job) and I'm about to send it out for playtesting with other gamers.
So, I need a cover for it, and this is it. I'm calling this "Pre-Load" because I'm only preparing a review copy for others to use and edit. Lots of typos, lots of empty examples, and stuff like that. It'll take me another month or two to actually typeset and finalize the interior of the book.
I plan to make another version this weekend that will probably feature that sexy lady cowboy, Arizona (see elsewhere in my gallery). But, in case I don't get to it, I created this one using the "Cowboy Mike" Character from PoserWorld.
Anyway, hope ya'll enjoy this sneak peak at my upcoming book. I'm mostly happy with the background and logo, and here's hoping I can improve on it this weekend.

the compo looks good, like the aged look, might carry that over onto the figure too, so it looks more like an old poster, although this looks fine to me :] good luck on your book
