Description

Meet young Jimmy flatlander and his favorite pals, Marvin the mentally challenged dwarf moose, Chris the cross eyed chicken hawk and Purplet, the the purple magic mushroom. What a wonderful day it is for Jimmy, walking amongst the talking sunflowers with all his friends. Even the bright but spooky Mr Sunshine watches, making sure young Jimmy is safe. But watch out Young Jimmy, dark grumpy North Wind is coming, might be time to go back into the house.

I've just read your posting in the forum, and so i take a look. Surprising - very good joke. But now a serious word: The pic is fantastic. Point of view, positioning of the figures, colours - funny look & feel.

This is, quite possibly, one of the most twisted images I've seen here at R'osity ;-) For something soooo simple, there is actually quite a bit of subtle skill in here (the cloud and wind, the ripples in the ground). I love the sense of whimsy, but wonder if it wouldnt be slightly less cluttered if Marvins tail went under Jimmys arm. Also, the north wind doesnt look all that grumpy (perhaps his lips shouldnt be so solid?). And that sun IS kinda spooky. Of course, Im just glad my wife isnt around because she would want to know why I typed this long going on about this image Hmmmm. Maybe Im having a Purplet flashback to my college years? Cute, but trippy!
