Perennially 39yo female cartoonist and digital artist from Sydney, AustraliaBIOI left digital art for cartooning some years ago. Then I left cartooning to lay music. Starting to feel the itch again.
Like many, I love Pablo Picasso's work. I also enjoy Dali, Braque, Duchamp, etc (I'm a terrible cubist tart). My favourite cartoonists are Larson and Leunig who are, of course, more twisted than cubist.

I was SO upset when I found out that this bigotted twit had got in again - I thought Ozzies had more sense :-(

A very nice piece of truth...

Can't the Queen's Regent just fire him? I don't know much about Australian polotics or government, but didn't he do that before?

'Ozzies had more sense' Huh, you telling us that Ozzie Osbourne was the candidate for the other party in this election?!?
Mollock_20
briliant piece of work although I gotta say I dont mind him being in realy, at least he has done some things right and as long as he doent send us charging into any other invasions I dont mind :). Important thing he "DOES NOT SAY SORRY TO THE ABORIGINAL PEOPLE" wich is good coz they can hardly hold us responsible for what our forefathers did and on top of that if he sais sorry then that counts as Australia saying sorry and I hate to say it but it is true, they already get enouph out of us as it is and if we give them more reasons to think we owe them then life will stink coz I grew up watching aboriginal kids get government payments to do things we couldnt afford at home. im not racist either I ahve lots of Aboriginal friends who are like minded! aniway thats my say lol, once again I think you have done a great job here and I realy hope John howard does not let us down otherwise Ill be joinging youre band wagon :)

I wonder what happened to the huge crowds of anti-war protestors in ye olde Botany Bay?

Grea...I Found This Most Interesting!! Thankyou For Sharing......
Grea
I was one of 1/4 of a million anti-war protesters in Hyde Park before we joined the Coalition of the Willies. Howard didn't care and, as is clear now, nor did over 1/2 of the population. So I'm wondering if we Aussies are any smarter than Ozzie and also whether Americans will do any better in their upcoming national IQ test. Arrrrh ... politics shmolitics!
jocko500
I in the U.S. I hear a little about it and what I hear is good . This man did a lot of good down there. I hear the anti-war protesters is funded by the terrories themselfs. If they can win on the protests and get in the news they win. remind you all they the terrories will cut your heads off too. these people do not like no one if you do not beleve the way they beleive. they even kill they own brothers which I hear alot of storys of that is going on.
Grea
Jocko, and where do you hear those stories? The media, by any chance?

"...whether Americans will do any better in their upcoming national IQ test." " I hear the anti-war protesters is funded by the terrories themselfs." Sort of a telling exchange, isn't it? W says he speaks good ol' fashioned American (not English, as the rest of you American speaking people would have us believe). It's not so much a test of intelligence. Seems to me it's more a measure of what people hold to be important. For instance, command of the language isn't a measure of a man's intelligence, but it is a measure of whether or not he thinks spelling, grammar and refinement are important.
Grea
Bluliner35, my view of what is "intelligent" is our capacity to act with wisdom. I can assure you that the people who protested against the Iraq war were ordinary people like me who belived that you only go to war when there is NO alternative. Australia was hardly in that position. Saddam was bad news (like all the other 50 or so other tyrants in charge of different countries, who are not being invaded ... ahem) but he was also hated by Al-Queda because his one saving grace was that he was secular and not a fundamentalist. Why didn't the Coalition just throw their resources into international policing and intelligence to deal with Al-Queda instead of invading Iraq? If you can satisfactorily answer that then I will consider your viewpoints.

It's all too true. You hear a lot about "moral decay". Well if our leaders lie and break promises, and are rewarded for it, what kind of example does that set for my child?

Thanks for sharing this...it's nice to see a viewpoint from Australia when as a Canadian we are inundated with American news. Sorry about the election of your right-wing man...

My two cents (and as we know that isn't even currency anymore)...This man has A LOT to answer for. He has lied to us about the Children Overboard affair, then locked children behind bars against human rights, he has ensured our country go from an egalitarian society to a captialist one (started by Paul Keating with the recession we 'had to have'). He sent our soldiers to an invasion that was NONE of our business, but should have been our concern. Anti war rallys in this country were held by AUSTRALIANS - NOT Terrorists. It never ceases to amaze me how wide the range the noun 'terrorist' now covers. Yes, we have terrorists in the world, we always have...and probably always will as humanity will always fight for their individual beliefs. Gahndi said "An eye for an eye makes the world blind" - oh how blind a world this is. Thank you so much Grea for stating your views, may I say I totally agree - I didn't vote for the little lying rat.
