Looking down more steeply is a good way to avoid the end of the world with a small terrain, which effectively eliminates any possibility of a sky. Which is not a problem really, look at LutzB work, for example - he loves steep views and no sky (Although he is good at those, too.) I like the quality of the low light on the terrain here!

Pink is not a favorite color or choice of mine but, you have used it well. I always use post work sharpening and contrast in hopes of improving my images...sometimes it works...sometimes it don't :) Thanks for sharing you work!!
