The octo is ok, but the ship and the landscape rock. Nice touch with the shark coming over to see if any tidbits fall out.

Je me souviens tres bien de ce scene dans le film. J'aime beaucoup ta maniere de realisee tes idees. L'image est tres bien cadree par la vegetation et a une belle profondeur.

From this POV it is a neat Verne-Goff hybrid. That oval wheelhouse window is cool but would have been a great deal more difficult to manufacture. I think some ray traces from the sun would contribute to a better lighting effect, which otherwise is very good, and that tentacle sticking out of the surface is an opportunity to add bubble turbulence from the surface to the surrounding water.
